At Bright Kids Child Development Center, We believe every child has different needs and abilities. Each child learns in his/her own way and at his/her own pace. So our programs are designed to empower you with educational options and choices at every age to create the most fitting path for your child.
Bright Kids offer programs for Infants through Pre-kindergarten. Each Program follow the School Readiness Pathway. All our educational programs are filled with songs, music, hands-on activities and games designed to stimulate a child’s imagination. They are designed to help enhance and foster your child’s learning capacity and experience.
Infants (0- 17 Months)
Our Infant program is designed to build strong foundations for your little angel. Our teachers spend lots of time cuddling and talking to your baby to instill trust and provide a healthy early learning that will help your baby transition from Infant to Toddler.
Our infant care is filled with toys and books that will help stimulate your little one developmentally – physically, emotionally, mentally and socially. Teachers sing songs and read stories to encourage language acquisition. They will also introduce Sign Language to encourage children to express their thoughts or needs.
Teachers at Bright Kids support your kid’s development and take care of his or her daily needs the same way you do. We constantly communicate with you about all of the important parts of his day such as diapering, feeding and sleeping, not to mention letting you know about the exciting new learning your child experiences every day. Combining all this with abiding by state-mandated teacher-to-child ratios yield the kind of infant child-care environment where children learn best and flourish.
Toddler (18 Months- 36 Months) Early Preschool
We have two toddler classroom, one is for children 18 months to 24 months and the other one for children 24 months to 36 months. Both toddler programs encourage your child’s natural curiosity in a fun and active learning environment.
Here at Bright Kids Child Development Center, we want to bring out and develop your toddler’s skills and growth by providing them with age-appropriate materials and books. In our program, we will help your toddler to develop confidence by discovering the answer to his or her favorite question at this time, “WHY?”
Your toddler’s days here at the center will be filled with music, dance, art, story times that encourage language skills and social growth, plenty of outdoor climbing, running and jumping.
Our developmentally appropriate activities will be your child’s outlet for their copious amounts of energy, curiosity and thirst for exploration and knowledge.
Advanced Preschool (3-4 years)
Our program is designed to encourage the natural curiosity and reinforce the independence of your child by providing fun and challenging activities that promote all aspects of your child development, including: self-help, language, cognitive and physical.
Preschoolers are introduced to theme-based learning activities prepared by the teacher that respond to the stages and interests of each individual child, as well as to the whole group. Daily schedules and routines help nurture your child’s confidence. Fitness and manners are incorporated into the preschooler’s daily schedule, as well.
Learning centers in our preschool program serve as hubs for activities related to pre-literacy, letters and sounds recognition, basic math, dramatic and sensory play, art, music and hands on science exploration.
Pre-Kindergarten (4-5 years)
Our Pre-K Program focuses on kindergarten preparedness, social finesse and a mastery of gross motor skills. This program is filled with a more complex structure of language, art, literacy, math and science exploration, where active and enthusiastic children can refine and expand their skills and knowledge. For the most part, classroom time is devoted to learning letters and sounds, recognition of classmates’ names, print concepts, letter writing and early spelling through phonics, distinguishing shapes and colors, telling time, and other skills. Pre- math skills will include patterns, number sense and recognition as they begin to associate number concepts, vocabulary, quantities and written numerals in meaningful ways.
Each day at Bright Kids Child Development Center, our teachers provide opportunities for independent discovery, cooperative learning and outdoor playtime for your pre-kindergartener. They also ensure pre-kindergarteners have joyful, appropriate, and meaningful learning experiences that lead to success in school and in life. Regular evaluations will be done and parent conferences scheduled to keep you updated on your child’s progress.
It is important to highlight that we work hard to establish a more structured routines to help establishing the stability and consistency that children need to feel sure of themselves and move toward the scheduled environment of school.
In addition to the classroom curriculum, Bright Kids Child Development Center also offer a variety of programs for younger and older children to not only enrich your child’s school experience, but to make things easier on you and give you more free time on nights and weekends.
